First Light begins with an availability check. For every other experience, you can reserve with a ¥10,000 deposit or pay the confirmed total in full through Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on this website.
Cancel 7 or more calendar days before the scheduled tour start time for a full refund. Cancellations made fewer than 7 calendar days before the scheduled start time are non refundable. This applies to both deposits and full payments. If KYOTO BEN cancels a confirmed experience, the affected payment is refunded in full.

I'm Ben, a Kyoto-based private guide who calls Arashiyama home, one of the most beautiful corners of the city. I live here with my family, my daughter, and our dog, surrounded by the mountains, temples and quiet streets that first made me fall in love with Kyoto.
